Travel and Everyday Clothing Essentials from Western Rise

​Whether you are working from home, traveling, or exploring new environments a versatile and durable wardrobe provides you with peace of mind and the flexibility to do more with less. One of my favorite clothing companies right now is Western Rise, who make clothes that are not only comfortable and functional, but stylish as well. While trying to reduce the number of items that I have in my closet, Western Rise shirts and pants have been very helpful and in this article we are going to be taking a look at some of my favorites. 

Evolution Pant

First up is the Evolution Pant, which was successfully funded on kickstarter and has quickly become one of the most popular travel pants on the market. The reason for this is that the pants are made out of a stretch nylon fabric that makes the pants super lightweight and breathable. These characteristics make them very easy to pack and comfortable to wear in a hotter climate. To top everything off, the pants have a DWR treatment that provides great water resistance, a hidden zippered security pocket, and they can be worn multiple times without washing.

Limitless Merino Polo Shirt

Next up is the Limitless Merino Polo Shirt (which is also offered in a button-down style). Merino fabrics are very popular in the travel community due to their natural temperature regulation and odor and wrinkle resistance. Western Rise has taken this shirt to the next level by adding 4-way stretch to allow it to move with you during any activity and a tailored fit that will look great whether you are using this for work or a night on the town.

Active Collection

Most recently Western Rise released a collection focused on a more active lifestyle with pieces that are well suited for working out, but that don't look overly athletic or out of place for day to day use. The collection consists of a t-shirt, shorts, jogger, and socks and each of these items offers lightweight and comfortable materials that are quick drying, durable, and a great replacement for the beat up gym clothes that I have been using for the past few years.

AT Slim Pant

Finally, we have the AT Slim Pant, which was the first pants from Western Rise that I tried out. After the release of the Evolution and Diversion Pants, I am impressed how well these have held up. Similar to those pants, the AT Slim Pant has a modern cut, DWR coating for water resistance, and an effective pocket layout. Where the AT Slim Pant differs a little bit is that the materials used to make it are a little bit thicker and more rugged so they may work better for rougher adventures or colder climates. Even with that durability, however, the pants maintain the comfortable stretch and quick-drying properties of its two lighter brothers.
