Traveling with one bag is something I have fallen in love with. As I have written in previous articles, one of the funnest parts of traveling this way is planning out what you actually want to take on your trip. Having the limited space of a travel backpack really forces you to think through what you will need for your trip and come up with some creative ways to take what you need. One of the hardest things to decide on with limited space (and if you are a shoe aficionado such as myself) is how many shoes you can take without sacrificing the flexibility of multiple styles of shoes  and, more importantly which types to bring with you.
