In this video I will be walking through my “The Last of Us” Inspired Wardrobe and Go Bag setup. I really enjoyed the HBO adaptation of the popular video game and now that season 1 has concluded I figured this video could help fill the void and I have always enjoyed imagining what types of things characters in these worlds might carry with them for a dangerous adventure.
In this video we will be talking about the history for the name of this channel and some tips for naming your Youtube channel if you are thinking of starting one this year.
It is again that time of the year where the colors start to change and temperatures start to go down (living in Florida this is admittedly mild compared to most other places, but hey it's still Fall). Even though it has been a crazy year, it is a great time to explore the outdoors and enjoy the change of the seasons. In this article I share some of the things that I am excited to put to good use over the next few months.
It’s back to school time, but with everything still going on in the world, this means many will be attending school virtually. In addition, there are many who are still fortunate to be able to work from home and so I wanted to put together a few of the things that have made it easier and more comfortable for me to work from home over the past few months.
In one of our previous posts we talked about the pros and cons of one bag travel. In that article we talked about how one bag travel can be awesome, but it may not be for everyone. If you read through that article and have decided you want to try it out or if you have had an interest in this style of travel for a while, I put together a video going through the ways in which I will typically pack my bag for a few weeks of travel. In the video I go through the items I pack, how I organize everything and just some tips that I have found very useful throughout the many trips I have now done with just a travel backpack.
Traveling with one bag is something I have fallen in love with. As I have written in previous articles, one of the funnest parts of traveling this way is planning out what you actually want to take on your trip. Having the limited space of a travel backpack really forces you to think through what you will need for your trip and come up with some creative ways to take what you need. One of the hardest things to decide on with limited space (and if you are a shoe aficionado such as myself) is how many shoes you can take without sacrificing the flexibility of multiple styles of shoes and, more importantly which types to bring with you. In this article I talk about the number and types of shoes that I have found to be perfect for the trips that I have taken so far.
We are huge fans of one bag travel and can never imagine going back to traveling with a traditional carry on. However, one of the challenges with one bag travel is that you typically have to pack some sort of additional backpack to use during your day to day when you arrive at your destination as most travel backpacks will be too big or heavy to carry around with you all day. Thankfully, a few companies have taken it upon themselves to try to create a bag that can really fulfill the dreams of anyone looking for a true one bag travel experience. Unfortunately, when you are looking for a bag to satisfy all needs there will always be compromises, but after a great deal of testing these are the bags that we think are doing it best at the moment:
The holidays are upon us and if you are like us, it can be a little stressful to think of gifts that might be cool and useful to get for your friends and family. Below we have created a list of some of our favorite items in a variety of areas such as travel, tech, and EDC to hopefully provide some ideas for what you might want to get.
Learning to travel with one bag has truly improved my overall trip experience and I can't see myself ever going back to traveling with multiple suitcases and bags. I now feel so free when I am on the go and it has become something of an obsession to see how much I can maximize what I can pack into smaller and smaller bags. With that being said, as with everything in life, one bag travel will not be the best option for everyone and even as an evangelist of this type of travel there are times when having when bag can lead to certain inconveniences. Read on to see the pros and cons that I have noticed throughout my travels with one bag.
