Pros:

• Updated harness on the travel backpack is more comfortable than the original
• Useful organizational layout
• Ability to expand for additional capacity
• Daypack packs down surprisingly flat

Cons:

• Straps on the daypack don't offer much padding
• Split layout does not always work as well with bulkier packing cubes and gear
