Incase Dopp Kit Review

As many of my reviews will show, I am a huge fan of Incase products. I have been buying their backpacks and accessories for a long time and I always love their designs and build quality. When I saw they were now offering a dopp kit I could use to pair with a bag such as their EO Travel Backpack I was super excited to check it out. Read on to see some of my thoughts below.

Pros

  • Design: the bag is very minimalist which is something I really like and the black makes the bag super sleek. In addition, it's nice how the bag is flatter and wider as this will prevent bulkiness in my slimmer backpacks
  • Size: in pictures I thought the bag seemed big and was worried that it would be difficult to fit into my smaller travel backpacks. I was pleasantly surprised how small the bag is and how it is still able to hold full size bottles of shampoo, toothpaste, etc.
  • Stash Pocket: it's nice to have the stash pocket to be able to store some cash/credit cards or even a passport while you're traveling

Cons

  • Expensive: especially for how few features it offers. At $60, it would be nice if the bag had a few more organizational options or included some travel sized liquid carrying containers
  • Limited Organization: the bag has one main pocket to hold the majority of your items and then a secret stash pocket to hide money or smaller items such as a medicine or contact case
  • Shape: Unlike many toiletry kits, this bag is more flat and wide which can be a pro or a con depending on how you pack and the types of items you want to bring with you

Summary

7/10: Overall this dopp kit has a nice minimalist design that is able to hold all your travel needs, but ultimately it is too expensive and limited in its organizational options for its heft price tag. At the moment my current favorite dopp kit is from Aer. Their bag only costs $40 and offers tons of features with a similarly great build quality.y.
