Goruck GR1 21L Long-Term Review

​Revisiting the Goruck GR1 21L after using a bunch of recently released everyday carry bags that have been great and come in at a much lower price than the GR1. Although the high price point can hurt, the GR1 still holds up well by offering an incredible build quality, minimal tactical style, and a surprising amount of space.

Pros:

• Rock solid build quality and a lifetime warranty
• Minimal tactical style offers a nice amount of versatility without becoming too overwhelming
• Simple organizational layout and clamshell style opening allow this to hold an impressive amount of stuff
• Laptop compartment includes a false bottom

Cons:

• Price point will still be high for most people
• Straps can take a while to break in
• Laptop compartment can feel a little tight especially when the bag is packed out
