Best Budget Bluetooth Headset

I absolutely love the iDOO V4.1 Bluetooth Headset! When I travel I currently use a pair of Wireless Beats Solo 2, but those can be bulky and honestly there's always a fear that such an expensive set of headphones can be lost, damaged, or stolen. So for my everyday movement I always carry a pair of the iDOO headsets. During my search for an affordable pair of bluetooth headphones (especially after I got an iPhone 7, RIP headphone jack), I tried many many pairs of headphones under $30. There were a few options that were ok, but there were always too many trade-offs to really be able to ditch my Beats or wired headphones completely. Finally after weeks of searching I found these Powerbeats- imitating headphones on Amazon that seemed to really hit the sweet spot on price, performance, and look. Read on to see why I loved these headphones and ended up buying a pair for all my family members this past holiday season.

Pros

  • Design: I am a big fan of the hook style earphones and I really like the design of the Powerbeats headphones. These even improve on the powerbeats design by integrating the mic and controls directly into the headphone
  • Speaker: Once you get used to talking on the phone with these it is tough to ever go back. I am able to answer calls, control volume, and speak through the headphones with no issues and have been able to always hear my calls very clearly
  • Price: At $20-25 it is very difficult to find a pair of headphones that have as many features as these but still manage to stay under 30$
  • Reliability: I have been so impressed with how well the connection holds between the headphones and my devices. I can use for hours and hours without any hiccups in connection
  • Multi-Device Use: I love that you can connect to two devices at the same time and the headphones will automatically switch between the two
  • Water Resistant: Great for using at the gym and you don't have to worry about sweat causing any issues

Cons

  • Battery Life: I can usually get a good 6 hours of use, but it has really bothered me that when I hit 30% battery life the headset has a little voice that will keep telling you that the battery is low right up until the headset dies.
  • Sound Quality: The sound is definitely not terrible for the price, but if you care alot about having excellent quality when you are listening to music you may need to invest in something a little bit more expensive

Summary

9/10: Overall, I am a huge fan of these headphones and use them every day at work and at the gym. They are extremely comfortable, reliable, and compact and highly recommend them to anyone looking for a great pair of affordable bluetooth headphones.
