8 Summer EDC Essentials

Summer 2020 has definitely been a strange experience with the ongoing pandemic. With that being said, it is still possible to enjoy the outdoors while continuing to practice social distancing. Depending on where you are, the weather may be starting to get particularly hot so in this article I'll be taking a look at some of the gear that I am excited to be taking on my outdoor adventures this summer!

I had heard a ton of hype for Allbirds, but I wasn't always crazy about the aesthetic. When they announced their new Tree Dashers, however, they looked great and I was excited to finally be able to check them out. So far the shoes have felt very comfortable and I can see why they have become so popular. They may not be for hardcore runners, but for light jogging or walking around for a longer period of time they do a great job.

It's important to stay hydrated and although there are tons of great water bottle options, the one I have enjoyed using recently is this insulated option from Wandrd. Made by a company called MiiR, it has plenty of capacity without being too bulky, a clean look and I really like that it has a wide mouth opening to allow for easy cleaning!

When the sun is particularly strong it's always nice to have a hat for some additional protection. I have been enjoying this hat from Bluffworks in particular due to how lightweight it is and the fact that it is really easy to clean. On top of that the hat just has a really comfortable fit and offers some solid and weather resistant materials.
