In this video we will be taking a look at the Sitka Drifter Travel Pack which has been featured in a few videos with Jack Carr, former Navy Seal and Author of the Terminal List Series of books. After watching Jack’s walkthrough of the bag I was curious to try it out first hand to see what type of bag someone with Carr’s would use. We’ll see how it holds up against some of the other popular bags we’ve looked at!

Review of the Goruck Bullet Ruck - Laptop which is a an updated version of a classic everyday carry bag. The bullet ruck has been a reliable and more compact alternative to the GR1, but lacked the dedicated and bombproof laptop compartment the GR1 has. With this new version of the Bullet Ruck, Goruck has added a laptop compartment and improved the back panel to provide more support and make it a very compelling alternative to the GR1.
Review of the Arc’teryx Granville 16 Backpack which I have been curious to check out for a while. The bag has a minimalist aesthetic, highly weather-resistant materials, and holds an impressive amount for a 16L bag. If you need a sleek bag that can keep your stuff safe in the rain this may be a good one to check out!
Review of the Bellroy Venture 22L Backpack which is a stylish and versatile tech / everyday carry bag that offers a great build quality, flexible access to the main compartment, solid laptop protection and a useful organizational layout.
Review of the Kargo Gear Senda 21L Backpack which is a durable everyday carry bag that has a useful organizational layout, comfortable harness system, and interesting aesthetic. If you are looking for something unique and made in the U.S.A. this may be a good option to consider.
Review of the Yeti Crossroads 22L Backpack which is a rugged and versatile bag that offers solid laptop protection, weather resistance and space. If you need a backpack that can handle the outdoors and also work well for edc this will be a great one to check out!
Review of the updated Evergoods Civic Half Zip (CHZ) 22L Backpack which includes Evergoods new breathable back panel, an updated fabric, and additional organization. Some of the issues from the original are still present, but overall this is definitely an improvement over the v1.
Review of the Peak Design 30L Travel Backpack which features a sleek aesthetic, a solid build quality, and a surprising amount of space. There are, however, a few tradeoffs that hold this back from being the ultimate minimal travel pack.
Review of the Goruck Heritage GR1 (21) which brings a timeless waxed canvas aesthetic to an EDC legend. The Heritage GR1 includes the minimalist clamshell layout and laptop protection of previous GR1s along with their newer top quick access pocket. If you are a fan of Goruck’s bags, this one is definitely worth checking out!
Review of the Timbuk2 Alcatraz Backpack which offers a surprising amount of space, solid laptop protection, a comfortable harness and the ability to customize the appearance and materials to match your style.
